The report submitted to Parliament is based on data known as of June 30, it said.

Half of the projects (50%) fall into the "coordination, pathway, coordinated exercise" category and only 2% fall into the medical device (MD) category. The strategic council for health innovation has examined 20 projects using a DM. Of these, seven are "digital tools", it said.

The report notes that 32 telehealth projects (telemedicine and m-health) have been investigated at the national level. Among these, nine were authorized, five "redirected", three found inadmissible and 15 were under investigation at the time of writing.

The most common medical fields in telehealth are "dermatology, diabetes, imaging, cardiovascular pathology then transplants, oral health and cancer," the report said.

The most common themes are tele-expertise then telesurveillance, but "it should be noted that there are projects that fall into other categories, such as case management, patient self-management or therapeutic education. "

In telehealth, project leaders are mostly health establishments and groups of health professionals, then industrialists.

Among the ongoing experiments identified by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, TICpharma (site of the APM International group, of which TICsanté is a part) listed eight projects using telemedicine, for cumulative funding estimated between 18.1 million and 21.6 million euros, from the health system innovation fund (Fiss).
