a cheap smart health connected bracelet

[ad_1]

Jaha is an ongoing project on Kickstarter that promises the same performance as market-leading smart health connected bracelets like the Jawbone UP24, the Fitbit Flex or the Nike Fuelband SE, while being more affordable. His price ? $ 29 + $ 10 shipping cost.

The Jaha works like the Fitbit Flex, it's actually a small sensor that fits into a colored bracelet. For the material, the company chose the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) rather than silicone, considered less solid. The bracelet will initially only compatible with iOS (from iPhone 4S), the Android application being planned for March 2015. The Jaha is also waterproof, so you can bathe and swim with it, but not dive.

Like most of its competitors, the Jaha can capture steps, distance traveled, calories burned, sleep and active minutes.

On the application side, you can challenge your friends, find partners for sport. The application is open, so you can use other competing bracelets with them, if they wish. It remains to be seen the quality of this application, the solutions from Jawbone, Withings and Nike are already very effective.

Like any Kickstarter project, it contains risks, but the Jaha can be a solution for people who want to Review the Quantified Self, without necessarily putting too much hand in the wallet. You can find this project on Kickstarter.
