a new range of smart health connected watches

The Garmin Fenix Chronos range of smart health connected watches has just been announced. It is a magnificent collection of high quality watches combining style and performance.

The Garmin Fenix Chronos range offers three different models. A titanium version with a brushed titanium bracelet (the most expensive model), a brushed steel version with a stainless steel bracelet and a steel version with a black leather strap.

Not sure if titanium or steel is the ideal material to use, especially on a strap, for watches dedicated to sports like hiking, diving, kayaking and many more. However, the product manager of the range at Garmin, Martin Resch, explains that these watches precisely provide a watch that can be used for sports or going to the evening.

But let's not be too harsh with Garmin. The brand is not the first to use these materials for sports watches. Traditional watch manufacturers have used them for years.

In terms of features, the list is quite impressive. The Fenix Chronos offer the same characteristics as the Fenix 3 but also offer an even longer lifespan. In UltraTrac mode, the economizer mode, the watch can run for 25 hours. In GPS mode, it can operate for up to 13 hours. To accompany it all, the watch still has its 1.2 inch Chroma Display, an EXO antenna (GPS / GLONASS) and Garmin IQ applications.

However, if you want to treat yourself to one of these little gems, you will have to break your piggy bank. The titanium version is priced at £ 1,099.99, the stainless steel version is priced at £ 949.99 and its leather strap variant is priced at £ 849.99.
