A Philips Hue app for the Apple Watch

Philips has confirmed that there will be a Philips Hue app for the Apple Watch. With it, Apple’s smartwatch users will be able to manage their Hue bulbs directly on their smartwatch.

The Philips Hue could therefore become the preferred smart health connected bulbs for future regulators of the brand's smart health connected watch to the apple. As a reminder, the latter will be available for pre-order on April 10 and marketed on April 24, 2015.

The information was revealed by the twitter account @tweethue in response to a question asked by a user and blogger on the Redmond Pie site.

In any case, this is a good initiative since users will no longer necessarily need to have their iPhone or iPad on hand to control the lighting in their house. It remains to be seen what options will be available via the app because, it should not be forgotten, the screen of a smartwatch is much smaller than that of a smartphone.

As of yet, no app launch dates have been released. Case to follow!
