Football is the number 1 sport on the planet. However, it is far from being the most exploited in the field of smart health connected objects. Little by little, however, companies are trying to take advantage of the immense potential of this market. Last example, Dribbleup, a balloon smart health connected to an application to help you train.

Dribbleup, a smart app to improve

If you would like to improve your skills in football but training on your own quickly becomes boring, then you should take a look at Drubbleup. It’s a balloon smart health connected to an app launched by two Brooklyn entrepreneurs.

The concept is simple, you install your smartphone on a tripod and the application uses the camera. You just have to practice opposite and Dribbleup follows the movements of the ball in real time. The app then provides you with a ton of data, tips for progress, tasks to accomplish and notes your performance with simultaneous audio feedback.

The main advantage of course is that it can be used anywhere, anytime. No football pitch needed and the weather won't block you. No battery problems either, everything happens directly in your smartphone. There is therefore no need to reload your balloon. Many training videos are also available to give you ideas and to help you practice.

Being funded on Kickstarter

Dribbleup has launched its crowdfunding on Kickstarter August 17. After a few days, this smart health connected balloon has almost reached his goal of 10,000 dollars. If you want to participate, you have until September 16. The sale price is 49 dollars, then it should be sold around 75 dollars. Deliveries will take place between October and November depending on the offer you choose.

If we can be surprised that an innovation linked to football arrives from the USA where this sport is not necessarily very developed, projects linked to team sports are multiplying in the USA. The same company already offers in its catalog a basketball based on the same concept. If companies like Babolat already offer smart health connected balls for tennis, football takes time to develop with new technologies. As we presented to you some time ago, the digital transformation of the number 1 sport on the planet, goes mainly through the development of the experience for fans.
