A service with national competence for shared information systems of ARS is created

This system is created for three years. Called "SCN SIM ARS", it reports to the director of digital social ministries, says the order.

As a reminder, the digital directorate of the ministries responsible for social affairs (DNum) includes the sub-directorate for digital projects and services and the "digital working environment" sub-directorate and its functions are geared internally (tools for mainly public officials).

This new service, under the supervision of the DNum, has the following missions:

• deploy and update the transformation strategy for shared ARS information systems and identify project opportunities

• ensure the design and coordinate the implementation, deployment and maintenance in operational conditions of application solutions common to ARS

• support the animation of associated business networks in order to develop uses and alignment with business needs and user satisfaction

• research and propose relevant application pooling and optimization in connection with any other service carrying application solutions.

Born of a amendment – adopted on November 4, 2019 – to the finance bill (PLF) for 2020, this service should make it possible to optimize the management of the IT functions of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health and to make operating savings for the ARS by pooling these functions.
