A smart health connected bracelet against sunburn

[ad_1]

SunFriend is a smart health connected bracelet against sunburn. The SunFriend has a sensor that measures the sun's UVA and UVB rays to help you increase your vitamin D intake.

SunFriend therefore has a sensor resembling a 20 mm diameter circular disc. In the center, yellow triangles imitating the sun and 11 LEDs that help you know if you are close to your limit of exposure to the sun; each LED representing 10% of this limit. You can check the UVA, UVB and UVI rays using the buttons on the right side of the bracelet.

On the left side, a power button and a "Skin Sensitivity" button. Of course, the SunFriend communicates in Bluetooth with an accompanying application which allows it to tell it which parts of your body are exposed to the sun, adjust the sensitivity of your skin, etc. You will be able to manage up to five people on this app; ideal for families. This application will also allow you to know your exposure time to the sun each day. A graph even displays sun consumption.

The model exhibited at the Wearable Technology Show 2015 in London is a prototype, which will be tested on the beaches this summer.
