A smart health smart health connected object that wants to save lives
Wearsafe is a small smart health smart health connected object that aims to save lives. At the touch of a button, it will alert family and friends if something happens to you or you are in danger.
Wearsafe is on a mission to save 10 million lives. Yes, 10 million lives! This little Tag is a Bluetooth device wearable which works together with your smartphone to alert your family and friends if you are in danger. The device measures 3.4 cm x 4.9 cm, has a range of 60 meters and has a replaceable battery, offering up to six months of use.
At the touch of a button, the Tag connects to the Wearsafe application installed on your phone and will contact all the people registered in your trusted network. Once the button is pressed, you will feel a vibration to inform you that your loved ones have been warned. When launched, only the iOS app will be available. The Android version will arrive by the end of the year. An application will also be developed for Pebble products.
Once alerted, this small smart health smart health connected object will provide real-time information about your location, your speed of movement and the ambient sounds around you. Your trusted network will also be linked by a private discussion group. Wearsafe is not the first product of this type, but the latter and may be the most complete and successful I see.
Currently being funded on Kickstarter, you can now pre-order one from 30 dollars. But beware, in addition to the purchase price, you will also have to spend $ 4.99 per month to take advantage of all the services offered by Wearsafe. This is probably the weak point of this product. Finally, here is a short ehealth presentation of the product:
