After cars, autonomous bikes?
[ad_1]
When we talk about an autonomous vehicle, we immediately think of intelligent cars that will allow us to put our feet under the dashboard while waiting for the journey to take place on its own. But it's not just cars that will manage on their own, bikes too!
The CoModule firm has indeed designed a bicycle model able to ride alone, and controlled by a smartphone. Basically, the machine is a cargo bike from Veleon, which was a bit hacked for the occasion. With three wheels, a Heinzmann electric motor as well as a 350 Wh battery, the small racing car can fend for itself by means of on-board electronic systems, including including a GPS and Bluetooth module.
Since smartphone and an Android mobile application, the pilot will be able to steer the aircraft as he wishes by pressing a button, and tilting the phone according to the direction he is in want to take to the bike. The three wheels also offer the bicycle a better balance especially when cornering. Presented at the Eurobike 2020 show, the prototype could why not be used to facilitate the work of the postal services or even ultimately, serve as a delivery system.
