Alexa voice control for any electrical device

During its last press conference, Amazon unveiled its Amazon Smart Plug. A small smart health smart health connected object that allows you to add voice control to any electrical device.

Amazon Smart Plug is therefore a very interesting product for those who wish to generalize voice control at health home. Obviously, this product is not new. Many other health home automation brands have offered this type of product for years. So what's interesting here is the integration of Alexa.

Also, the announcement of Amazon's Smart Plug was not a big surprise as the product listing had leaked on Amazon UK; before being removed a little later. It was possible to see examples of use; like setting lights or turning a coffee machine on or off. Again, nothing really very revolutionary.

The Amazon Smart Plug mainly allows you to program hours to turn on or off devices. It also lets you use Alexa for voice control and control devices when you're on the go.

Like all Alexa products, just plug it in, sign in to the Alexa app, add your new smart plug, and start using your voice.

No health home automation hub is required. Also, it is possible to configure all your routines and schedules via the Alexa application. This is the whole point of this smart health smart health connected object. Most other smart plugs offer commands via Alexa, but not all.

For its US release, Amazon’s Smart Plug will cost $ 24.99. It is available for pre-order today and will be shipped next month. No date or price is currently available for France. Personally, I think this product is only interesting for people who already have an Echo. What I'm waiting for now is Google’s response.
