Amazfit Bip – An Apple Watch lookalike with 1 month of battery

Continuing its foray into the wearable market, the Xiaomi Huami sub-brand unveiled the Amazfit Bip, an entry-level smartwatch that looks like two drops of water to the Apple Watch and has about a month of life drums.

Huami's Amazfit Bip will be available in four color variations: black, white, green and red. This smartwatch is equipped with a 1.28-inch touchscreen imitating that of the Apple Watch.

The Amazfit Bip weighs 31g, has a 3-axis accelerometer, a heart rate monitoring and GPS / GLONASS sensors to help users track their sports and monitoring their sleep. A barometer will also detect the altitude and a geomagnetic sensor will be used as the compass for the device. Unfortunately, this smartwatch only has an IP68 water resistance rating; enough for sweat but not for swimming with in a pool.

But what is exceptional with the Amazfit Bip is its battery. According to Huami, this battery has a lifespan of 30 days with regular use, and up to 45 days with certain features disabled.
