Amazon smart health connected glasses soon on the market?

Amazon smart health connected glasses may soon emerge and compete with Google Glass. Amazon recently filed a patent with the USPTO.

Amazon smart health connected glasses would therefore be the next project of the American e-commerce giant. Its CEO Jeff Bezos does not intend to be outdone by Google. On the documents accompanying the patent application, several diagrams make it possible to recognize glasses. These smart glasses are, for the moment, intended for employees of the brand and could allow them to find products faster to be shipped to Amazon customers.

So, will Jeff Bezos' employees become pseudo-cyborgs? We're not far away! Jeff Bezos has always bet a lot to optimize the work of his employees in his warehouses. Each storage space is a mini city where everything that can be automated has been automated and where every day little hands are guided by machines.

The glasses will be equipped with a computer which recognizes in which zones the objects are located. The glasses also have an image sensor that could recognize objects associated with a given task. The sensor can also recognize the different types of packages, postal addresses, bar codes or even QR codes.

The glasses will provide specific text information in the lens to allow error-free product identification while allowing the user to keep their hands free. When the sensor in the glasses recognizes the target object, it instructs the user on what to do. They can also simply provide more information about the item, such as its destination or shipping method.

So will these Amazon smart health connected glasses only be used in the brand's gigantic warehouses? Nothing is less sure ! Other manufacturers and companies may well be interested in such devices.
