The French brand Withings has just introduced Pulse HR, its last bracelet smart health connected waterproof and equipped with a touch screen. It is geared towards athletes with its activity tracking.

Withings has had many adventures. Acquired by Nokia who marketed products under the Nokia Technology France brand, the Issy-Les-Moulineaux company then returned to its founder Eric Careel last May under the direction of another of its founders, Cédric Hutchings. The Hauts-com-Seine company presented yesterday, his new bracelet smart health connected called Pulse HR which follows the Steel HR Sport smart health connected watch released last September 18th.

Pulse HR: a smart health connected bracelet for athletes

This smart health connected bracelet is above all a tracker of activity which directs it resolutely towards the sportsmen. The Pulse HR has an OLED touch screen with a certain curvature. In addition to see notifications and monitor the quality of his sleep, the smart health connected bracelet is equipped with a heart rate tracker. A sensor placed next to the wrist allows you to analyze your heart rate. The associated Health Mate app provides data for sport sessions.

Withings said that a dozen sports activities will be recognized including running, walking and even swimming. The smart health connected bracelet is actually 5ATM waterproof certified (50 meters). Note however that the Pulse HR does not offer GPS but that the geolocation can be done with the application. The activity tracker proposes an impressive autonomy of 20 days in normal mode and 5 days in sports activity monitoring. The charging time is estimated at 2 hours. The bracelet smart health connected Pulse HR will be marketed from December 5, 2018 at a price of 129.95 euros.
