Ancient Eastern Wisdom Increasingly Popular And Gaining Fame – Anti-Aging

[ad_1]

In recent years, the ancient beauty and health practices of the Far East have seen a great rediscovery. Beauty rituals from Japan, Korea and China are having a big moment in the sun as people realize how beneficial this ancient natural practice can be to both their health and their looks.

Over the last few weeks we have shared some of the endorsements from celebrities who have received Anti-Aging products and other high quality beauty products from the Far East.

To recap quickly

  1. The acupressure mat is reportedly used by Jennifer Lopez, Elle Macpherson and Kate Beckinsale, among others.

  2. Cupping is commonly used by celebrities such as Gweneth Paltrow, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Anniston along with a wide list of sports stars who use it to aid in recovery.

  3. The Jade Rollers are enjoying increasing popularity with celebrity user lists growing by the day and now including Naomi Campbell, Kylie Minogue and Victoria Beckham among others.

This trend was not overlooked by Britain’s Times last week, which published an article entitled “The Ancient Exercise that is Suddenly Cool”. The article reported on the increasing use of Qi Gong, or Chinese health exercises, to reduce stress, increase fitness, and improve longevity.

Qi Gong, once yoga’s poor cousin, is growing in popularity and alongside Pilates and yoga, classes are available at fashionable gyms across the country. The practices themselves are believed to be over 5,000 years old and involve posture, breathing and controlled concentration to harness the body’s natural energy.

Traditionally these were health practices but were also used to enhance natural beauty by focusing energy on specific areas of the body such as the face and hands.

Prominent practitioners reportedly include Julia Roberts, Kate Beckinsale, Gweneth Paltrow, Tiger Woods, Iggy Pop and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody.

Practitioners benefit from improved health and relaxation in addition to increased focus.

In a world that is moving faster and faster it is no surprise that more and more people are turning to this ancient wisdom and at Anti-Aging, many of whom are also practitioners of Qi Gong, we are truly pleased at the growing popularity of this wonderful art to see.
