AquaGenie, a smart health connected bottle of water so you don't forget to drink

Eat five fruits and vegetables a day. Drink between 1.5 and 2 liters of water per day. Two recommendations trumpeted by doctors to take care of our daily health. These objectives are sometimes complicated to achieve, but smart health connected objects can help us. The latest example with AquaGenie, a smart health connected water bottle currently featured on Kickstarter.

A smart health connected bottle filled with sensors

Not drinking enough has real consequences on our health but also on our sporting activity. We have less strength, we recover less quickly … In short it is really an important daily action. However, the vast majority of us do not drink enough throughout the day. The AquaGenie smart health connected water bottle wants to help you reach your goals.

So you start by setting goals. As the day progresses, AquaGenie tracks your consumption. When you're behind on your goals, it starts to shine to remind you to stay hydrated. The sensors allow you to measure exactly how much you drink at what time of the day. This data can then be synchronized to a fitness application. You will be able to see over time if your goals are reached, when you drink the most water … The application is available on iOS and Android. To recharge it, simply install it for 1 hour on its block.

Target achieved on Kickstarter for AquaGenie

It is of course not the first smart health connected bottle to hit the market. With the ever-increasing trend for sports activity and monitoring our health, it makes sense that a cross-functional product arouses the interest of companies. Earlier last year, Moikit Seed appeared on Kickstarter. Rather designer, it reminded the user to drink regularly with a system of LEDs and vibrations. A few months later, Gululu instead targeted children with a system similar to a tamagotchi. They need to drink to keep their companion alive in an app.

The operation ends in a few hours on Kickstarter. AquaGenie has already reached its goal with $ 76,000 out of a targeted total of $ 75,000. If you wish to participate, there is still a 40 dollar rate for international backers. It will however add 30 dollars of shipping costs for France. A total of 70 dollars which is also the price at which the AquaGenius smart health connected bottle will be sold once it is put on sale. Deliveries are scheduled from November. You can get it in three different models: original (black and blue), Aqua (green and blue), Violet (purple and blue).
