Asus' smartwatch on Windows

Asus’s VivoWatch smartwatch that will replace the ZenWatch Android smartwatch could run Microsoft, WinSource said.

The VivoWatch is described as a smartwatch capable of monitoring the heart rate and exchanging data with a mobile device. According to Notebookitalia, it would have a Bluetooth SIG 4.0 connection for the HC-A01 model and would monitoring heart rate and sleep data.

What suggests that this watch will ship Windows is its name. Indeed, all Asus "Vivo" terminals such as the VivoBook or VivoTab are under Windows while the products in the "Zen" range use Android. Besides, Microsoft recently presented its health platform. Asus would therefore be the first brand to use it.
