You've probably heard the name Basis Peak if you follow the news of smart health connected watches and bracelets dedicated to sport. It’s because it’s about one of the tools with the most sensors in this domain. Autonomy of about 4 days despite le permanent heart rate monitoring, tracking and automatic recognition of activities thanks to technology BodyIQ (walking, running, cycling, sleeping, …), advanced sleep analysis, measurement of skin temperature and respiration, waterproof up to 50 meters … These are some of the possibilities offered by this watch, which is mainly geared towards sports. Mainly, but not only, because the Basis Peak has also recently been splitting up with more social features, such as SMS, email or call notifications, like the majority of smart health connected watches. Also know that his mobile application is compatible iOS and Android, easily synchronizes with Apple Health and Google Fit and that it aims to analyze in detail the activity and sleep data of the user, as well as to offer advice in order to improve their lifestyle and achieve personalized goals.

However, few were those who could enjoy it in our countries, for a simple reason: the Basis Peak was not currently only available in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Grab your credit card and get ready to play sports, because the Peak is finally here!

As a reminder, the Basis Peak composed of a aluminum body and a Gorrila Glass 3 touch screen. It is available in two models : a matt black module with a black strap with red details and a brushed metal module with a white strap with gray details.

The most impatient will be able to console themselves at IFA 2020 in Berlin from September 4 to 9, where Basis Peak will be present.

The other big news is the integration of Basis Peak with Runtastic. For those who are not aware, Runtastic is nothing more than one of the leaders in health and fitness applications. This gives users the opportunity to better understand their data and better understand the progress made. Concretely, Basis Peak therefore becomes one of the heart rate monitoring devices compatible with the Runtastic PRO application, who will be offered free of charge to all users from Basis Peak. They will also benefit from a 40% discount on the Runtastic Premium subscription, including advanced analysis of the collected data and unlimited training programs.

Concretely, this integration will allow users view their heart rate according to the areas mapped using the GPS function of the Runtastic app (available on iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices).
