The BCB Dexther online drug database continues its digital rollout. After the BCB Dexther Web solution, Resip, a subsidiary of the Cegedim Group and publisher of the database, announces the free access to its mobile application designed to meet the need for rapid and universal access to essential information on more 15,000 drugs.

The BCB Dexther database is the first database on drugs approved by the French National Authority for Health (HAS), and used daily by half of healthcare professionals in their business software. Resip now offers this application for free download from the iOS, Android and Windows platforms, to all healthcare professionals. The aim is to expand its use and support new uses and practices by healthcare professionals, particularly in the care of patients.

In the office as on the road, medical and paramedical professionals need to easily access essential data on their patients' treatments: indications, dosages, contraindications, adverse effects, etc. The general public, for the sake of knowledge and taking charge of their health, is also in need of easily accessible reference information on health products.
