Bewell BW-SC4 smart health connected scale Review

The Bewell BW-SC4 smart health connected scale is part of the brand's MyScale scale. This is the MyScale XL model which can measure up to 200 Kg. It is suitable for overweight people weighing between 100 and 200 Kg. We have tested it.

The screen is invisible when the scale is turned off.

Use & Getting started

Download the application

In order to connect the Bewell BW-SC4 smart health connected scale, you must first download the Bewell Connect app from the App Store or Google Play depending on the model of your smartphone or tablet. You will find on our applications page all the necessary links.

Once the application is installed, you must then create an account to be able to use it. It allows you to connect all the devices of the Bewell brand, and thus to be able, in addition to its weight, to monitoring your blood pressure, sleep, activity, etc.

Taking measurements

Just step onto the scale pan to turn it on and start measuring.

It should be noted that to obtain the body mass index, you must have entered your size in the application to calculate it.

Log in

You have to activate the Bluetooth connection of your smartphone or tablet, start the Bewell Connect application, then select the BW-SC4 scale from the list for the first connection. The connection is then made automatically at the end of the measurements.

Bewell Connect app

The Bewell Connect app is fairly easy to use. It allows you to follow the evolution of your weight over a given period, and to set weight and body mass index goals. You can also export your data by email in Pdf format.

It is also possible to manually enter the data and have a summary of all its data in tabular form (also including blood pressure, sleep, temperature, blood sugar, pulse oximeter measurements, etc.).

The Bewell BW-SC4 smart health connected scale is a specialized scale for overweight people. As a result, we found that the accuracy for measurements below 80kg was slightly less accurate than its little sister, the BW-SC3.

Its use is not necessarily linked to the connection to a smartphone, it can operate independently.
