The “4 fantastic” products dedicated to health

MyGluco is a glucometer for type 2 and 4 diabetes. For this product, Visiomed worked with the French Society of Diabetics to find out which product would potentially interest them. And what came out of this dialogue was that the patients wanted to know the trend in their blood sugar before going to bed, to avoid having to get up late at night to take their treatment. This is how MyGluco was designed: it is offered at € 99 and is reimbursed up to € 68.50. The strips used for samples are sold in boxes of 50 at a price of € 19.99 and are fully reimbursed.

Myoxy is therewireless and smart health connected pulse oximeter by Bewell Connect. It allows its user to control his oxygen saturation as well as his heart rate in real time. The object is offered for sale for 109 €.

MyECG is a pocket electrocardiogram wireless, smart and smart health connected. It has the distinction of being very light since it weighs only 120 grams. It will not be marketed until September 2015, at a price of 249 euros, but without any reimbursement planned for this product.

Mytens East an electrotherapy medical device, which involves electrically stimulating nerves using electrodes placed on the skin. This therapy is used in the treatment of pain following rehabilitation, trauma or a dysfunction of the nervous system. The Bewell Connect product comes without a case, just with the electrodes. It also works for venous return (the famous “heavy legs” effect). Its price is set at € 249 and will be reimbursed up to € 112.50. More than 50 programs are available on the device and each of them lasts between 10 and 30 minutes.

A word on the app

Theapplication associated with smart health connected objects is “multiprofile” : it records all the medical data of each member of the family. smart health connected objects work in Bluetooth and load their data to the app when they're near the smartphone. You can also geolocate health centers around the world via this app, and call an emergency number, but also send the data by email automatically to your doctor immediately after taking the measurement.
