Blendtec Professional 800 Blender - Best overall result
[content-egg module=Amazon template=custom/bigcart_notitle next=1]
The Blendtec Professional 800 is a professional grade blender that has six pre-programmed one-touch cycles for crushing ice, making soups and smoothies, cleaning up and more.
It features a one-touch LCD interface keypad with a countdown timer to keep your non-pre-programmed mixes consistent. The Professional 800 has 11 speeds that can be controlled simply by running your finger over the touchscreen cursor on the control keypad.
This blender comes with a BPA-free, impact-resistant WildSide jar, with an extra-wide base for added stability. It can hold up to 90 ounces in volume, or 36 ounces by mixing dry or wet ingredients. It has a ventilated clip-on lid to lock all contents inside the jar.
There are Mini-WildSide jars that can be purchased for mixing small amounts, but they don't fit well and wobble when mixing. There is also a problem with the cover coming off. We recommend that you stick to the large pot that came with the stand. The only problem with the large pot is that it makes the unit too big for some cabinets, which can be tricky for some.
The best thing about this blender is the new stealth technology which has made it one of the quietest blenders on the market. It is enormous ! Older Blendtec blenders were so loud that you had to wear earplugs to use them.

Blendtec Designer Series Blender
[content-egg module=Amazon template=custom/bigcart_notitle next=1]
The Blendtec Designer Series Blender with WildSide + Jar has eight speeds, so there is one that will meet your needs. It is equipped with an LED touchscreen with seven different mixing options and a countdown timer so you know how much time you have left in your mix. The case also has an internal baffle to reduce noise, but it's not as effective as the stealth technology of the Professional 800.
This Designer Series blender has a patented forged stainless steel blade that is 80% thicker and ten times stronger than most other blender blades on the market. The blades also have wings to help you achieve incredibly smooth blends. The coolest thing about these blades is that they are blunt. No more cuts on the fingers or missing pieces in the spatula.
Like the Professional 800, this blender comes with the WildSide 90 ounce jar. It has the capacity to mix up to 36 ounces of wet or dry ingredients which are kept inside by a vented clip lid. This pot is very sturdy, but the casing doesn't have any kind of rubber on the bottom to hold it still, so the entire device dances on the counter while mixing. The lines on the jar also make it difficult to extract all of the food.
Blendtec Total Classic FourSide - The best value for money
[content-egg module=Amazon template=custom/bigcart_notitle next=1]
The Blendtec Total Classic Original blender with its four-sided jar has six pre-programmed cycles for foods that are very popular and a ten-speed manual control for foods that are not. It has the same patented stainless steel forged blade with wings as the Designer series, but this one does not completely chop frozen foods, or foods with a skin, like apples or grapes.
Even if your foods are a bit big, they're mixed in a BPA-free four-sided jar that holds a total volume of 75 ounces and can mix up to 32 ounces of your favorite foods, whether wet or dry. The only downside to this container is that it is plastic and vibrates strongly during mixing. It would be much more robust if it were made of a more substantial material.
There are a couple of things that we don't particularly like. The first is that it is loud. You won't want to use this blender in the morning if you are near a bedroom with a person sleeping. The warranty on this product begins on the date of manufacture, not the date of purchase. You'll want to check the dates on the box and buy one that hasn't been on the shelves for some time.
Blendtec Classic Blender with WildSide Jar
[content-egg module=Amazon template=custom/bigcart_notitle next=1]
The Blendtec Total Classic Original Blender with WildSide + Jar has six pre-programmed cycles for foods that are done most often, and ten manual speed settings for those that are made less often. It has the same thick forged stainless steel blade with wings as the previous two blenders, but it lacks the power to liquefy frozen foods or large pieces of food.
The Total Classic Original also comes with a 90 ounce BPA-free, impact-resistant jar. It has the capacity to mix up to 36 ounces of wet or dry ingredients, but it's made from plastic. Although the motor of this blender is not as powerful as some others, it is noisy and too powerful for the plastic of the container. After about 200 uses, the plastic begins to wear out and leak. The leak weakens the material, and it begins to deteriorate and leave metallic stains in the food.
Blendtec Blender 825 Professional
[content-egg module=Amazon template=custom/bigcart_notitle next=1]
The Blendtec Connoisseur 825 Professional Blender features 30 pre-programmed one-touch mixing cycles and a new, impact-resistant, BPA-free jar with a vented clip-on lid. This pot has five sides which are made to automatically pull the ingredients towards the blade. It has a volume of 90 ounces and a mixing capacity of 36 ounces.
This blender is the most complicated of all Blendtec blenders, and it vibrates so much while mixing that the whole thing dances on your counter. It's a good blender, but it's not made from the same quality materials as some others. It won't last that long. This device is estimated to have a lifespan of only three years or less.
