Blincam takes photos when you blink!

Do you remember Google Glass? Well, be aware that this little wearable could make you rethink it if you had forgotten them. Indeed, Blincam relies on one of the features of Google's virtual reality glasses.

Blincam will allow you to take photos when you blink. Easy to install, this wearable can be attached in the blink of an eye (pun intended) to all pairs of glasses. With him you will become a real paparazzo.

But then how does this wearable work? The detection of blinking eyes is done via a sensor which detects the movement of the eyes and which activates the shutter of the camera. The sensor is capable of distinguishing between solid and natural blinks. This little distinction will save you from finding yourself with thousands of photos at the end of the day! The images can then be sent wirelessly to your phone or saved to a microSD card.

At the moment we do not know precisely the number of megapixels offered by the device but the brand indicates that it will be equipped with a high definition CMOS sensor. The only other features we know of are that it has a built-in battery and a micro USB charging port. Unfortunately, no information has been given regarding the battery life. Before giving you the price of this little gadget, I suggest you watch this little demonstration ehealth:

The Japanese company behind Blincam launched a fundraising campaign on the Japanese crowdfunding site Makuake. The product is offered at a price of ¥ 19,800. This equates to around 170 euros. If you decide to order one, you will need to be patient as shipping of the product is not scheduled until 2017; and it looks like it will be more for the end of the year.
