Lifen will thus propose to the 1,100 health establishments adhering to the CAIH to implement its software solution for the dematerialization and the postal processing of their medical mails.

Created in 2015, Lifen has developed a software that automatically analyzes medical documents in search of the patient and the recipient, to ensure the communication of information between public and private health facilities and private medicine, via secure health messaging (MSSanté) or by post, one recalls.

"The implementation of this solution allows institutions to dematerialize on average more than 85% of letters and divide by 3 postal budgets, thus saving 3 hours of weekly salary to medical secretaries," said the CAIH and Lifen.

Interoperable with computerized patient records (DPI) and city office software, Lifen's software ensures the sharing of more than 5 million medical documents per year from more than 90,000 practitioners.

As a reminder, the tool is billed to the institutions on a pay-per-use basis, depending on the volumes of documents exchanged.

A solution "DMP-compatible" and certified HDS

Concretely, the software allows:

  • the sending of medical letters in a dematerialized way via secure messaging, guaranteeing deliverability and traceability

  • automatic feeding of DMP with medical reports

  • the use of a directory of health professionals updated on a daily basis, and aggregating several sources (MSSanté, Apicrypt, RPPS)

  • the dematerialization of mailings to patients.

Compatible with the DMP, the Lifen tool hosts its processed data at OVH, certified health data host (HDS), and Lifen is itself certified HDS.

"We have selected Lifen for its dematerialization performance and its complementarity with the regional platforms and services offered by the ARS (regional health agencies) and GCS (health cooperation groups) .This new offer will allow institutions to accelerate their transformation. on the sending of medical letters, "said Michel Treins, President of CAIH.

The solution for sending Lifen medical documents has also been included in the Union of Public Purchasing Group (Ugap) catalog since July 2018.

Last June, the start-up announced that it had completed a 20 million euro fundraising campaign with Partech, Idinvest, Majyccs eSanté and its historical investors Serena and Daphni.
