Calamari with garlic

Ingredients for calamari with garlic/ 4 people

200 g white squid cut intostrips 1 cm

1tablespoon of sunflower oil

4cloves garlic, minced

2tablespoons minced fresh ginger

1tablespoon rice wine

1teaspoon soy sauce

1/2tablespoon of sugar

1teaspoon cornstarch diluted in 1 tablespoon water

1teaspoon ground pepper

PREPARATION calamari with garlic

1Mix the rice wine, soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch and pepper in a small bowl andset aside.

2Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and sauté the garlic and ginger for 10seconds.

3Add the squid and let it fry until it begins to curl.

Finally

Stirin the sauce and heat again for 1 minute.

3 tb Agarflakes, PLUS1 ts Agar flakes1-1/2 c Cold water1-1/2 c Cashews, raw1/2 c Sunflower seeds2 tb Nutritional yeast1-1/2 ts Sea salt1/4 c Lemon juice3 tb Carrot, finely grated1 tb Vegetable oil

Cashew UncheesePreparation

Stir the agarinto the cold water, then simmer over low heat to soften it. Pour half the agarwater into a blender and process with half the cashews and sunflower seeds.Blending half at time will help make the mixture creamier faster. (Overfillingthe blender will result in an uneven texture.) Add half of the each of theremaining ingredients and blend until creamy. Pour into a mixing bowl. Monkfish Kebobwith Vegetables Marinate monkfish cubes for at least an hour. Cut vegetables intochunks. Place monkfish cubes and vegetables on kebob skewers. Marinate skewersin large casserole or baking sidh, covered and refrigerated for three hours.Broil in oven, lightly basting and turning often for approximately 8-10minutes. Serves 4, 2 kebobs each.
