[ad_1]

The document lists 20 quality criteria to be considered before launching a project, grouped into six themes: ethics and ethics, medical reliability, organization, legal compliance, technical reliability and economic model.

This list was compiled by a working group of health professionals experienced in medical telemonitoring, mainly in cardiology, using different solutions available on the market.

Remote monitoring would save 4,500 euros per patient per year, for an average per capita cost of 15,000 to 20,000 euros, according to the plea of Catel.

For health professionals, the think tank emphasizes easy and close therapeutic support, a better quality of life for patients, better access to health data and a reduction in readmissions.

As a reminder, Article 54 of the Social Security Financing Act (LFSS) for 2018 has renewed the program Steps (Experiments with telemedicine funding for the improvement of health care pathways) for a period of four years. These experiments concern five pathologies: heart failure, renal failure, respiratory failure, diabetes and implantable cardiac prostheses.
