Celery cashew shrimp-Chinese healthy food and nutrition for February 14
Celery cashew shrimp
Ingredients celery cashew shrimp
100g celery
250g of shrimp
80g of cashew
seasoning
salt
1pinch of chopped ginger
4tbsp Shaoxing wine white pepper
Sunfloweroil
20minutes
Steps celery cashew shrimp:
1.Wash the shrimp and drain. Marinate the shrimp with 4 tbsp Shaoxing wine, whitepepper, salt for 20 minutes.
2.Rinse celery and cut into branches.
3.Heat the sunflower oil in a pan and add 1 pinch of ground ginger.
4.Put the shrimp in the pan, sauté, then remove. Book.
5.Heat the sunflower oil in the pan, add the celery. Sauté.
6.Add the shrimp and salt.
7.Finally, put the cashews in the skillet and sauté for a minute. Pour It Up.

2ts Herbal salt substitute
1/2c Chopped roasted macadamia

1c Chow mein noodles

Lettuceleaves — for lining

ChineseCrab Salad in Tomato Baskets Preparation
1.In a large bowl combine crabmeat, cucumbers, cabbage, onion, sesame seed, andcilantro. Toss well. 2. In another bowl whisk together vinegar, honey, tamari,gingerroot, oil, and salt substitute. Pour over crabmeat mixture and toss well.Add nuts and noodles (if used). 3. Line a platter with lettuce leaves. Cut eachtomato in half width-wise. With a sharp knife, score interior and scoop outpulp to form a shell. Fill with a generous portion of crab salad and place onlettuce-lined platter.
Ingredientsfor Chinese Duck Sauce Recipe
1lb Plums halved and pitted
1lb Apricots halved and pitted
1-1/4c Cider vinegar
3/4c Water
1c Cider vinegar
1c Firmly packed brown sugar
1c White sugar
1/2c Lemon juice
1/4c Chopped ginger
1sm Onion sliced
1(or more) serrano, seeded
-andchopped
2sm Garlic cloves sliced
4ts Salt
1tb Mustard seed toasted
1Cinnamon stick
ChineseDuck Sauce Preparation
Combinefirst four ingredients and cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes. Reduce heatand simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Combine the second four ingredients andboil for 10 minutes. Combine the remaining seven ingredients. Combine the abovethree sets of ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove cinnamon. Puree infood processor. Return to kettle and simmer until thick. Transfer to sterilizedmason jar, cap loosely and let cool. Tighten caps and let stand in dark atleast 2 weeks. Makes 2 pints.
