CHECK YOUR SHELF LIFE! – Anti Aging

[ad_1]

Do you want to know how to keep your beautiful skin and line as long as possible? In the new book “Check your shelf life” by Pim Christiaans and Hanny Roskam it is all explained. This book describes how you can slow down the side effects of aging by making wise choices in areas such as nutrition, exercise and sleep. However, the choice for your lifestyle is not mandatory. According to the writers, it is okay to sin every now and then, as long as the balance is right. And I totally agree!

For example, you will find enlightening chapters in the book about exercise, nutrition, your sugar level and your sleep, all with the aim of staying young and healthy for longer. In total, the 31 most important parts of your health are described and the theory is clearly explained for each part, followed by practical tips. The best (self) tests are also discussed. Sounds good, right?

I asked one of the authors of the book, Pim Christiaans, how you as a busy woman (because we all are) can work on your shelf life in the most effective way. And this is his answer.

pim: The most important measures that you can take with which you can considerably extend your youth and lifespan (10-15 years) are: not smoking, drinking alcohol very moderately, eating Mediterranean food, sleeping well, exercising a lot, avoiding chronic stress and ensuring a good social life. We also discuss these issues in our book, but we have discovered that you can (and should!) do much more to slow down aging and limit the risk of disease. Unfortunately, there is no ‘easy fix’ for ‘eternal youth’, if you want to stay beautiful and healthy for longer, you will first have to stick to the aforementioned, well-known living habits as much as possible. That’s the basics. There are also many new insights and in our book we offer a series of new health advice ‘hot off the needle’. One of the most important new tips for women in our book relates to calcium management. Many women in the Netherlands take calcium to prevent osteoporosis. Or/and they drink a lot of dairy. Many also take vitamin D3, which ensures that you absorb calcium better from the intestines. However, it has been shown to be harmful! Instead of protecting themselves against osteoporosis, all women who take calcium and vitamin D3 increase their risk of arteriosclerosis! And with that you increase the risk of cardiovascular disease… But this does not mean that women should stop taking calcium and D3, they should just add something to it: vitamin K2. Very important Dutch research shows that we need vitamin K2 to ensure that the calcium we ingest does not end up in the vessels, but where it belongs, in the bones. It has also been shown that virtually EVERYONE is deficient in vitamin K2. We also now know that if you start taking K2, your vessels become more flexible again and your risk of cardiovascular disease decreases. Funny detail: there are indications that K2 also improves the skin. So all women who now take calcium with or without D3 should also take K2 with it.

Do you want more tips to stay young (and therefore Anti Aging )? Then I can really recommend you to read the book’Check your shelf life‘ to buy. You will certainly be able to take advantage of this!
