2tbsp black mushrooms

2leeks -1 tbsp buttery

1package of Chinese noodles (50 g)

100g minced chicken (smalldumplings)

100 g peeled shrimp

1 c. to. c. ground ginger

1liter of water

3 c. to. s. Canned corn

1 c. to. s. choppedparsley

ofsalt soy sauce

Preparation Chinese black mushrooms soup

Soakblack mushrooms in warm water, rinse and cut into small pieces.

Inanother bowl, soften the Chinese vermicelli in hot water, cool and drain. Bookall.

Washthe leeks, cut into slices and fry in a pan on low heat with a little butter.Pour the water, season with salt and ginger and bring to a boil.

Addmushrooms, Chinese vermicelli, shrimp, corn and chicken meatballs

Chopped.Simmer 10 minutes. add parsley and remaining butter. Serve with soy sauce.

Remarks

Ifthere are no black mushrooms they are replaced by canned mushrooms. Less shrimpis cooked the more they are tasty.

Ingredientsfor Christmas Crumble Recipe

4 oz Flour

2 oz Margarine

2 oz Ground almonds

2 oz Demerara sugar

1 lb Mincemeat

1md Tin

Slicedpeaches

Glacecherries

ChristmasCrumble Preparation

Setoven to 400/F or Mark 6. To make the crumble mixture, sieve the flour into abowl and rub in the margarine until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir inthe ground almonds and the sugar. Place the mincemeat in an ovenproof dish andcover with the drained sliced peaches. Reserve 8 peach slices for decoration.Top the dish with the crumble mixture and bake for 25-30 minutes until thecrumble is golden brown. Decorate with the reserved peach slices and the glacecherries. Serve hot with custard or cream.

Ingredientsfor Greek Chicken in Phyllo Recipe

1 c Almonds; see below

3 c Chicken; cooked andchopped;– into bit sized

8 oz Feta cheese; crumbled

1/2 c Green onion; sliced

3/4 c Cream

2tb Dijonmustard

1/2ts Basil

1Clove garlic

1ts Herb pepper

1/2 lb Phyllo dough

GreekChicken in Phyllo Preparation

Toast almonds for 10-15 minutes at 350 F.and coarsely chop Mix together all ingredients except phyllo dough and butter.Divide phyllo dough in half. Brush each sheet with a little butter and layerone half of the dough into a lasagne-type baking dish. Add chicken mixture.Cover with the remaining phyllo dough one sheet at a time, brushing each sheetwith butter. With a sharp knife, cut a couple of slits in the top and pop itinto the oven. Bake at 375 F.for 30 minutes.
