200g vermicelli

4spring onions (with stem)

150 g frozen peas

PREPARATIONChinese chicken soup

1Soften the mushrooms in 1/4 liter of boiling water. Cut the vegetables and thechicken into small cubes.

2Heat a little oil in a casserole. Sauté the vegetables (except peas and beansprouts ) without browning . Sprinkle with curry. Add 1 liter of hot water .Salt and pepper. Add the diced chicken and peas .

3Drain the mushrooms and cut them into thin strips. Add to the previouspreparation . Season with soy sauce . Bring to a boil and cook over medium heatfor 25 minutes.

Finally

10minutes before end of cooking, add the noodles and bean sprouts . Serve veryhot .

AppetizerShrimp Kabobs Preparation

Peel shrimp,and devein, if desired; set aside. Combine lemon juice and remainingingredients except shrimp in a shallow dish; set aside. Arrange shrimp on6-inch bamboo skewers, and place marinade, turning to coat. Cover andrefrigetate 2 to 3 hours. Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving marinade.Place shrimp on rack of a lightly greased broiler pan. Broil 6 inches from heat3 to 4 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with remaining marinade.Serve hot or cold.
