Chinese street food — Chinese food recipe and natural health

Chinese street food

It’s not a secret, The Chinese street food is delicious, varied and extremely cheap … count between 1$ and 3$ per person for a meal. So do not be afraid (we never fell sick because of the food in China) and treat you just ;-).

These few Chinese dishes you will taste:

Chinese specialties

So here it is for Chinese food,  its diversity, all new for vegetables, spices, Chinese noodles … a little was however less appreciated the fact that everything is cooked with a lot of oil. But it was still good to find a negative point that nothing tarnishes in the beautiful picture of Chinese cuisine. And despite all this oil, we have not taken a gram … even lost a few kilos … But that’s probably more of the many hours of trekking to the local gastronomy.

If you keep one thing in Chinese street food, it is its social aspect. Here, every dish is served in the middle of the table (often round) and is intended to be shared among all the guests. This way of eating has also convinced us totally, far more than European habits or each chose his dish and eats what he ordered. It’s still more fun to share to taste everything.

The rods you apprivoiseras:

So as you say that in China, they eat more slowly than in Europe (seems that it is healthier ), not necessarily easy to handle at first (especially the noodle soups!). But hey, it was soon used to it and now we practically put our head in our bowl of Chinese noodles and it is engulfed in a jiffy. As true you said!

Much ado shalt thou:

If people making noise while eating bother you, you have interest to do you a reason in China. The first time a Chinese to eat his soup noodles next to us, it we still smile (with a few small throat clearing and a small final spit . But you get used to everything . Instead, take the opportunity to make a noise max eating in China is allowed.

Never empty your plate thou shalt:

If you are invited in Chinese, do not clean your plate if you want to stop eating one day. An empty bowl just means you have not eaten your fill and it is the height of dishonor for a host not to have satisfied guests (so you’ll have a double ration as a result ; You should know that the food in China is somehow the first sign of social status. A host will cook in general it is best and constantly inquiètera your plate . similar phenomenon to the Chinese restaurant …. People generally order food mountains to show they have the means to provide the best and eventually leave half the food. What is for us the epitome of waste in China is completely banal .

Chinese street food is incredibly varied … at the same time it’s normal you might say to a large country with such a history. In the north, around Beijing, you will eat noodles, dumplings, Peking duck with a variety of vegetables always cooked in oil and garlic. The more you go to the center and west, the more your food is spicy  including the famous Sichuan pepper, which has the effect of sleep your language. You also gradually eat more rice because it is mainly grown in the southwest of the country .  To the south, in the Canton area, you will see that it is possible to eat everything and anything … For here, it is said that “in the pig, everything is good.” Over here, the saying applies to all animals and in general, anything that is edible is eaten. To say our host couchesurfing Canton has concocted kidney chicken, duck blood, chicken legs, grilled silk worms … and this is just a small preview of what is eaten in this region. Luckily, there’s the dim-sum (a kind of sweet or savory pastries steamed) that are more digestible for us poor Chinese varied

The cheese you will forget, tofu you adopteras:

To our great misfortune, most Chinese do not support the cheese (they do not even know  … Well, let it be said, tofu is downright bland and it will never replace the cheese (it’s also not the goal) … But it has the advantage of being very cheap, healthy, full of protein and can be cooked in 10000 different ways. When it is prepared, a tofu dish can be transformed into incredible taste experience .

Tea you drink :

In China, forget the coffee (which is also often overpriced) and get used to the Chinese tea chaud.Ordinarily, the Chinese consume a large amount of green tea. They have always left their small bottle for infusions and drink them all day. But even if green tea is by far the most popular, there is an incredible diversity of teas in China, some of which are very expensive. Best to try several, it’s still going to relax in one of the many houses of teas that you will find anywhere in the country … we spent several afternoons in these homes and it has always been friendly .
