We learn that most manufacturers choose to trust Qualcomm for the chips of their smart health connected watches. Circular screen watches are trying to make their way among the rest of the models, and the LG G Watch R seems to perfectly adapt to this type of particularly finished design. As for the definitions, they are quite acceptable with an average of 253 ppi, which is generally excellent data for an entry-level smartphone.

We also notice that Android Wear smartwatches tend to get heavier as time goes by, with an Asus ZenWatch at 75g and even heavier Moto 360s with the different straps available. The capabilities of the watches in terms of autonomy are relatively similar, but we expect great improvements for the next generations, because with 400 mAh it is hard enough not to charge your watch every day.

smart health connected watches have become more democratic

Since 2015, smartwatches have become important in our daily lives, whether for sport, notifications or mobile payment with solutions like Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Android Wear has also evolved enormously and has become Wear OS. Apple is archi market leader in 2020, thanks to its Apple Watch.

Finally, be aware that prices remain reasonable and confined between 200 and 300 €, with often offers of reimbursement from some of the resellers. Android Wear smartwatches are also part of our comprehensive guide to smart health connected watches.

Happy New Year 2015 and stay smart health connected!
