8 healthy cookbooks to cook healthier every day
In search of a healthy eating cookbook or a useful gift idea to support a loved one in their food rebalancing? Today, I share with you my favorites in terms of healthy cookbooks ! You will find in this article 8 healthy cookbooks that I recommend, as a dietician, to anyone with a good resolution to take control of their diet or who is simply looking for a more balanced diet. Let’s go !
#1 The Clemfoodie Cookbook
We start with a book of 100 recipes that are both delicious and simple: the Clemfoodie cookbook (released at Marabout editions). The real plus of the recipes of Clementine Vacconauthor of the book and food blogger very popular on social networks, is her vegetable richness. Indeed, the majority of French people do not consume enough vegetables, and this is something that I notice myself in dietary consultations.
The recipe book not only gives you plenty ofrecipe ideas for cooking more vegetablesbut above all inspiration for cook differently. Pasta, complete plates, bowls, soups, salads or desserts, each page makes you discover new homemade and balanced meals to inspire you to eat better.
#2 “The Kitchen of Livionna” by Olivia PRéseau
Always as healthy and as delicious as ever: the Livionna’s Kitchen book (released by Albin Michel editions) will make you love the healthy menus ! It’s a condensed version of healthy and very easy to make recipes, without ever having to sacrifice the gluttony of a good dish. If for you eating healthy rhymes with frustration, you can totally forget this idea.
What we also like in the recipes of Olivia Prenet (aka Livionna on social networks), is that they do not always contain meatwhich makes the recipes suitable for those who wish eat less meat every day. Other more? The typical weekly menus to inspire you to compose a menu of the week from the recipes present in the book.
#3 “My healthy recipes: BIM!” by Thibault Geoffray
The author of this collection of healthy recipes is none other than Thibault Geoffray, a very popular sports coach on Instagram. His book “My healthy recipes: BIM!” (Marabout editions) brings together 80 recipes that are super easy to makeallowing you to lose weight while having fun. The big plus of the book? The ease of preparing recipes, which require few utensils, few ingredients, and a minimum of time in the oven!

Looking for a healthy cookbook to eat better without spending hours in the kitchen? Discover “Healthy meals prepared in less than 10 minutes went out to Solar Cuisine editions. This catchy title will attract all those who do not wish to spend many hours in the kitchen! In fact, the revenue from book “Healthy meals prepared in less than 10 minutes” (released at Solar Cuisine editions) are very simple and quick to cook, which makes it possible to eat home-cooked meals even when your day does not leave you much free time.
On the other hand, as a dietician, I could not say that all the recipes are perfectly balanced: there is sometimes a lack of protein. Moreover, the addition of vegetables can be minimal. But it is a book that will effectively help out those who have little time to cook better, that’s why it’s worth having it in your library!
#5 “Cook your line” from Take The Power July
Lightness and delicacy, this is the basis of recipe book “Cook your line” (from Solar Cuisine editions): Julie Tournier (aka @takethepower_july on Instagram) offers you 100 healthy recipes, both sweet and savory, and accessible to all levels. They are addressed, as its name indicates, to all persons wishing to take care of their figure or their health.
To find your way around, the book is broken down into several categories: breakfasts, appetizers, starters, main courses and desserts. It contains inspiration from recipes for healthier daily cookingwith markings on each dish to meet everyone’s needs (gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose-freeetc.).
#6 “A week on my plate” from Healthy Clemsy
Another healthy cookbook to inspire you to eat better every day: “A week on my plate” by Healthy Clemsy. The author, Clemence Monier, is a clinical psychologist. In her cookbook and on social networks, she shares her passion for cooking through her vision of gentle and caring food. His book includes advice and more than 50 recipes for healthy eating every daywith flexible rules that everyone can make their own as they wish.
#7 “My healthy cuisine over the seasons” by La Cerise sur le Maillot
In this cookbook, the focus is on seasonal cuisine ! the book “My healthy cuisine throughout the seasons“ (Editions Le Duc) is a practical guide written by the blogger Stephanie Jouan, which offers you 50 healthy recipes adapted to each season. Thanks to this 240-page guide, you can rediscover the benefits of seasonal fruits and vegetablesand learn how to adapt them to your daily dishes.
#8 “The best recipes of DrBonneBouffe”: the cookbook of a gourmet dietician
We end this article with my favorite from the list: the book The best recipes from DrBonneBouffe (Hachette Cuisine editions)! Well, okay… Maybe it’s not objective since I wrote it, haha :)
More honestly, this book is one of the few healthy cookbooks to have been written by a dietitian : the recipes are specially adapted for a food rebalancing (health or weight loss) and have all been validated by a dietitian-nutritionist (me!). Beyond being a cooking book healthyI wanted it to be a a real educational tool that not only gives concrete ideas for healthy eating on a daily basis but also dietitian tips and advice to learn how to cook better.
Another essential point which makes all the difference: it is not a question of recipe ideas but rather ofhealthy meal ideas (nuance!). I created this book based on the observation that in a large number of healthy cookbooks, the accompaniment is not mentioned: result? The rendering is not always balanced…. But don’t panic, in “The best recipes of DrBonneBouffe”, you are guaranteed to cook a perfectly balanced meal and this, even if you are a beginner in the kitchen!
