Deebot N79S vacuum cleaner review

We are back with a new robot vacuum cleaner from the ECOVACS brand, the DEEBOT N79S. This is not the first time that I have had the opportunity to try robot vacuum cleaners of this brand. And as usual, it is time for me to give you my feelings after a few weeks of hard work.

DEEBOT N79S what are we talking about?

Like his companions, the Deebot N79S is a robot equipped with several interesting features. Like its compatibility with voice assistants, its advanced remote control and the possibility of controlling it from its smartphone. Of course, it also offers 3 passage modes, two suction modes, it is equipped with anti-fall sensors and is fully programmable.

But what strikes me most is the very affordable price of this robot vacuum cleaner. Around 180 €, Yes c‘Is that it, we are very far from the prices of the competition which is around 600 €. Would you tell me then that there is a wolf? Well no. If I compare it to Deebot 710, there are only two differences. The first is its "basic" intelligence, because it does not have a camera to optimize its movement and its smaller dust container.

Of my point of view, these are just details, because i will have to empty the tank a little more often, and it will take longer to clean the room. But since it always turns when I am at work, I am not able to see the difference.

Inside the box, we find our Deebot N79S of course, with its charging base, a remote control, high-efficiency filter for fine particles and a set of brushes and that's it. This time no spare brush set.

Return after intensive use

My opinion on the DEEBOT N79S

Sold for 180 €, The Deebot N79S is an excellent mid-range robot vacuum cleaner at a very affordable price. This is clearly the tactic implemented here, quality is performance no frills with a call price. The quality of the work is always excellent as usual. And even if the tank is a little more reduced and that it does not benefit from an optimized displacement, that ultimately does not make as much difference as that.
