During its general meeting organized on November 26, 2019, Sofime renewed its board of directors, its office (7 members) and its president.

Didier Theis succeeds Gabriel Nisand who had created this learned DIM company in 2013.

Didier Theis (48) has a master's degree in health economics and has been a public health doctor at the Lille University Hospital for 14 years and responsible for the DIM in the territory covered by the Lille Metropole Flanders GHT.

He is also chairman of the Hauts-com-France regional medical information technical committee (Cotrim) and vice-chairman of the DIM regional college (Coredim Hauts-com-France).

He is also a member of the board of the DIM college of CHU and of the scientific committee of the National Rare Disease Data Bank (BNDMR).

Contacted by APMnews (site of the international APM group of which TICsanté is a member, he indicated that he had "been involved for several years in all of the reforms concerning the collection of medical data and their epidemiological, medico-economic and strategic exploitation, developments of medical information and health financing in France, particularly recently in the framework of 'Ma santé 2022' ".

Véronique Gilleron (55), public health doctor, is responsible for the DIM of territory of the GHT Alliance com Gironde and the coordination and analysis of medical information unit (Ucaim) within the public health pole of CHU of Bordeaux.

Holder of a thesis in epidemiology and public health intervention, she has been practicing in a DIM for more than 25 years.

She is a member of the specialized commission "health system and patient safety" of the High Council of Public Health (HCSP), president of the national college of doctors of DIM of CHU and president of the regional medical information college of Aquitaine ( Crima).

Pierre Métral has been director of medical information at the Saint-Joseph-Saint-Luc hospital center in Lyon since October 2019.

After having been PMSI project manager (information systems medicalization program) in follow-up care and rehabilitation (SSR) in the direction of hospitalization and organization of care (Dhos, now DGOS) from 1999 to 2002, he managed the medico-economic department of the Technical Agency for Information on Hospitalization (ATIH) from 2006 to 2010, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He then joined the Lyonnais mutual group Resamut as head of medical information production, medical advisor to the managing director and data protection officer (2010-September 2019).

Pierre Métral is also a medical technical advisor to the Federation of non-profit hospitals and personal assistance (Fehap), president of the DIM college in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (Craim) and vice-president of the 'Association of users of international health nomenclature (Aunis). He has participated as an expert in the working group on the certification of health facility accounts since 2015.

Health Data Hub and data collection for funding

Sofime recalls that its vocation is to ensure the representation of medical information doctors with health institutions and stakeholders.

"Its objective is to develop the standards and methods, and to be in a position to provide collegial and expert responses to the numerous requests which are addressed to the medical information professions both in terms of the production of data, that of strategic, medico-economic, or epidemiological analysis, that of management, information systems, computerized patient records, confidentiality of medical data, etc. ", she adds. .

At the general assembly, the action of the outgoing president was welcomed. Sofime is "henceforth known and recognized" and "systematically associated with national work relating to medical information carried out by institutions" (general directorate of healthcare provision -DGOS-, ATIH and High Health Authority -HAS).

She worked with the DGOS on the creation of territorial DIMs, "whether for the production of a corpus of tools to assist in their formalization (model of charter, internal regulations, FAQ), or even to obtain on this occasion a clarification of the missions of the doctor responsible for medical information in the public health code ".

She also participated in the drafting of an "T2A revenue auditing guide (activity pricing) in MCO (medicine, surgery, obstetrics)" to support the deployment of account certification.

For the past year, the learned society has pointed out that it has taken action, in particular on the decree of December 26, 2018 setting the methods of organizing the medical information function.

She also worked on chronic pathology packages and on the grading of ambulatory care.

The new office indicates that it "will remain particularly attentive to the impacts of national developments both on funding models, on the types and methods of collection, on information systems and the confidentiality of personal medical data, or on medical information professions ".

It also intends to "strengthen its actions around the establishment of the Health Data Hub (health data platform) and initiate a reflection with the Ministry on the data likely to be collected by health establishments for the purpose of funding. , in front of the multiplication and the problem of coherence of the collections ".
