Digitsole tells us more about his smart shoes

The French company Digitsole presented its concept of smart shoes at CES 2016. Warming up your feet, monitoring your activity, knowing the calories burned are all features imagined for these so-called “interactive” shoes.

Digitsole therefore wants to create smart shoes, most of whose existing functionality is controlled via your smartphone. As I said, you can adjust the temperature, absorb shock or adjust the tightening density of the shoes. Society has obviously imagined models for men and models for women. These shoes are compatible with Android and iOS devices.

The Digitsole shoes presented at CES, and in the ehealth below, have a futuristic look and may well remind you of the shoes from the film "Back to the future". Me, they also remind me of the HyperAdapt 1.0 from Nike that I presented to you a short time ago on the blog. However, now the company has developed its range and also offers evening shoes for women and sportswear shoes for men. Sportswear shoes are designed for use in an urban environment. Their main advantage is undoubtedly the ability to warm your feet in the cold.

The idea of the Digitsoles is to "free" the wearer from the stress of buying a fitness bracelet, or more generally of a tracker, and having to constantly wear it. For example, when you play basketball, when you cannot or must not wear a bracelet, the shoes will replace them without any problem. For women, if the aesthetics of the bracelet does not match the evening dress, the shoes will replace it without any worries. Shoes can count the number of steps thanks to its integrated sensors. All data will then be available on the smartphone app.
