discontinuation of sleep earphones
Supposed to help their users get to sleep, the Bose Sleepbuds were one of a kind. But a defective battery got the better of them.
To improve sleep, these special headphones emit soothing sounds. The system is similar to that used by the Nightingale. For those who wish, the manufacturer accepts returns until December 31 and promises a full refund.

Bose Sleepbuds: a battery that didn't hold water
In its announcement, Bose does not fail to recall the exceptional path taken by the Sleepbuds to reach the rooms of their users. So the company spent years developing them in-house. Then, she opted for a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo before the commercial phase.
But right out of the device, battery-related issues built up. Among other things, the duration of a charge varied considerably. In some cases, we just couldn't recharge the earbuds. Worse, some have reported unexpected extinctions.
A slow reaction from Bose
At first, Bose did not take the problems of the Sleepbuds seriously. Or at least, that’s the impression the owners of the device had. So they turned to social media or the brand's forums pages for help.
@Bose @BoseUK my left sleepbud refuses to charge past 58%. Have tried updating the case firmware, resetting the case, everything. Any ideas? Struggle to sleep without them! pic.twitter.com/y9ml0rVocc

Similarly, some resellers continue to market the headsets. In fact, it should be noted thatthis is not a product recall. In fact, it is safe, and everyone is free to use it as they see fit.
If you have defective Bose Sleepbuds, you can contact thebrand customer support. You will have the choice between a refund or a replacement. Bose would have enough units in reserve to satisfy returns until early 2020. However, if they are less likely to be affected, they remain vulnerable to battery problems.
