The Asus Smart health home is a health home automation box under development. All the technical characteristics are therefore not yet known in detail. The hub will measure 150 x 160 x 67 mm and will weigh 256 grams. Inside: an ASUS motherboard with a Rockchip RK3068 processor that is paired with a second card that supports the Zigbee module in particular. The CPU is paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Finally, it is equipped with HDMI, micro-USB and Ethernet ports.

As for peripherals, Asus will offer IP cameras, switches, smoke and CO2 detectors, smart health connected sockets, etc. Nothing revolutionary. What's interesting is the design. The brand seems to have wanted a contemporary and sophisticated style, reminiscent of that of Dyson, and adorned with an original color oscillating between blue and black. In addition to a shiny surface, metal inserts and LEDs for the backlight have been added.

As I said, the Asus Smart health home System communicates wirelessly. It is compatible with most wireless communication protocols: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc. Of course, you can control it from your tablet or smartphone using the ASUS health home app.

On the images communicated by the brand, the interface seems quite intuitive and quite readable. It will put health home security, energy conservation and services at the center of the process. You can of course create scenarios at the IFTTT.

If the Asus Smart health home has been certified by the US FCC and the Asus HG100 health home Gateway file, which includes a user manual and a few photos, is already available, no release date has been given. But it will not be long !
