Study part-time in distance learning

Designed as a distance learning course, participants in the IT / Security course can flexibly achieve a full university degree in addition to their profession. In addition to online learning, there are regular face-to-face events at which the lessons learned are deepened and applied in lectures, exercises and group work. These presence phases generally take place on weekends, the dates for which are announced early so that the trips can be coordinated with professional or family appointments. At the end of each semester there are exams, which are also carried out in presence. These are usually written exams, seminars are final lectures. Contents and specializations

The curriculum outlines the planned and sensible schedule of the course within the standard period of study of 9 semesters. The curriculum also takes into account the content-related dependencies of the modules. The curriculum consists of a number of basic modules in the area of ​​mathematics and computer science as well as specialized modules in the area of ​​system security, network security, cryptography, etc. Furthermore, there is an elective area in which you can set individual focus areas. The study plan is rounded off by a project, two seminars and the bachelor thesis.
