E-Health country comparison: How do other countries use eHealth technologies?
[ad_1]
How is eHealth developing in Japan, France, South Africa, the USA or Brazil compared to Germany? The "Country Comparison E-Health" examines this question – with exciting results.
Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) – the business development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany – compared the state of digitalization in the area of eHealth in selected countries. It came out with that Country comparison e-health an overview of 11 countries including Germany, whose eHealth activities are summarized briefly and concisely.
eHealth in other countries
You have probably already known that the USA and Sweden are pioneers in eHealth. But did you also know that Estonia has a central digital health information system through which 98 percent of the population can access their digital health record? Only less than 1 percent of Estonians block this data access and voluntarily forego e.g. on redeeming digital prescriptions.
eHealth in Germany
In Germany, on the other hand, patients are driving digital medicine. At least that's the conclusion of the GTAI. Unfortunately, one aspect is neglected: the German healthcare market is also being driven forward by the company. This is proven not only by the many health startups, but above all by the many healthcare innovations. One of them is HealthDataSpace – the patient-centered Health Cloud with data protection seal of approval for the secure exchange of medical data.
