Elgato reveals its smart health connected sensors for HomeKit

Elgato has unveiled its two smart health connected sensors for HomeKit: Eve Room and Eve Weather will let you know the state of the air inside and outside your health home.

Elgato therefore finally presented two sensors from its Eve range for HomeKit. The Eve Room smart health connected sensor keeps an eye on indoor air quality while the Eve Weather smart health connected sensor will give you information on temperatures outside your health home.

The indoor sensor analyzes volatile organic compounds, such as traces of chemicals in the air, as well as CO2 emissions, temperature and humidity. It scans your interior to find particles that could be harmful to your lungs; such as mold, paint, bacteria, and more.

The outdoor sensor is concerned with the outdoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Obviously, this sensor is water resistant so you can place it in the garden without worrying about the rain. The sensors work with AA batteries, so you don't have to worry about wiring either.

Both sensors can connect directly to iOS devices without the need for a hub thanks to HomeKit. You can use Siri to check the current temperature outside, or to find out if it's really as hot in the living room as you think.

The society Elgato already offers both sensors on its website or in Apple stores. The Eve Room smart health connected sensor is sold for $ 80 and the Eve Weather smart health connected sensor is sold for $ 50.
