Fitbit launches the Fitbit Alta HR

[ad_1]

We have just attended a press conference at Fitbit for the presentation of their latest product, the Fitbit Alta HR. It takes the characteristics of Alta, adding real-time heart rate monitoring and battery life.

The Fitbit Alta is clearly designed for a female target because of its design. The Alta HR remains the same on this point, while managing to integrate a PurePulse heart sensor, able to detect your heart rate throughout the day. The brand announces that its activity sensor is the finest on the market incorporating a heart rate sensor.

It offers the same tracking features as the Charge 2, while adding a novelty long awaited at Fitbit, monitoring the phases of sleep (light, deep, paradoxical) and tips to sleep better. For the latter the company has told us with used the data of more than 3 billion nights of sleep made by the bearers of activity sensors of the brand to offer adapted advice.

Alta HR is already available pre-order on the official site for 149 €20 € more than the classic Alta, but 10 € cheaper than the Charge 2. The features specific to sleep (Sleep Phases and Sleep Insights) will be launched in a few weeks via an update of the application.

One more product in the Fitbit range, which has a tendency to become more complicated over time …
