The American Fitbit, well-known manufacturer of smart health connected wristbands, has just released an application for Windows 10 (operating system for computer) to track its activity. Its mobile equivalent is expected to arrive by the end of the year.

After the smartphone, Fitbit now allows its users to track their activity on their computer. This application is also compatible with tablets running Windows 10. This application allows a real-time monitoring of the activity and health of the user: not done, exercise but also diet, weight and sleep are among the data supported by the program.

Here are the main features offered:

  • Live monitoring: allows users to know where they are in real time, in relation to their objectives, to eventually adapt their way of life.

  • Configuration of alarms: the user can ask to be warned in case of dysfunction (insufficient activity, for example).

  • Cortana Support: Allows users to give verbal commands to their device for feedback on activity tracking ("I just ran an hour").

  • Notifications: Dedicated tab to see the messages and other encouragement of the family.

  • Challenges: allows you to compare yourself to your friends in terms of activity.

  • Synchronization by Bluetooth.
