Fossil Android Smartwatch powered by Intel
A Fossil Android smartwatch powered by Intel will go on sale in October. The partnership between the Intel Group and Fossil was announced in September 2014.
This Fossil smartwatch is therefore the first result of this famous partnership. For the moment, this Android Wear smatrwatch has no name; we will probably know him in October 2015.
Announced on the stage of the 2015 Intel Developer Forum (IDF) by Greg McKelvey, executive vice president of Fossil Group, this watch will not be the only wearable product offered. A trio of products will be marketed: a smart health connected watch that will not be on Android and a smart health connected bracelet should also be part of it. Obviously, the most interesting is this famous smartwatch which strangely resembles a silver finish version of the Moto 360 watch; even the black bar at the base of the dial is present.
As a result, the watch may well displease many potential users who hope for designs and ergonomics that differ from one watch to another. If all smart watches have the same functionality and the same design, or is there any point in creating new models ?! The brand could still have created a real smartwatch that stands out from those of Motorola and LG. For those who do not know, Fossil designs and manufactures clothing and accessories, mainly watches and jewelry. So it's his job to create new design!
For the moment, no price has been given. On the one hand, as far as I'm concerned, I don't want to know them since this watch does absolutely nothing. Hopefully Fossil and Intel will publish specifications worthy of the name and quickly revise their copy and offer high-performance products providing real added value, real added value.
