French Blood Establishment Launches Season 3 of Operation #MissingType

On the occasion of the new year, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) is launching season 3 of the #MissingType operation, an action that offers all French people a great opportunity to make blood donation their first resolution in 2020. Presentation.

From 6 to 18 January 2020, the EFS therefore invites the French, brands and institutions to wish their wishes without the letters A, B, and O which represent blood groups.

By symbolizing the lack of blood by the disappearance of letters from blood groups, the objective of this operation is to insist on the necessary regular mobilization of blood donors in order to always be able to meet the needs of the sick.

The principle is extremely simple! Each company, brand, organization can spontaneously decide to embark on the adventure by:

• Hiding the letters A, B, O from its logo on digital media (websites, social network profiles, etc.)

• Symbolically masking the letters A, B, O of its signs in the most simple and effective way

• Relaying its involvement on social networks thanks to #MissingType (photos of signs, screenshots of web pages, etc.)

• Inviting employees to remove letters A, B, O from their first name in emails

• Inviting his employees to replace the automatic polite formulas ("Regards, Good day, see you soon …") with a blood group according to their desires: A +, O +, AB- …
