Nest's line of smart health connected products have already been offered compatibility with Android Wear this year, but that's definitely not enough for the brand, which has just introduced a significant list of new product integrations to make your health home even smarter.

The Nest Cam smartcamera, the Nest smart health connected thermostat and the company's Nest Protect smart smoke and CO alarm are all affected by this major update. A new partnership has been launched in collaboration with the operator AT & T, the lock august, the lightbulbs LIFX, simplehuman, Belkin WeMo, Lutron, smart health connected activity bracelets Misfit, the intercom Skybell, P & G and Waxman. Their services are now integrated into Works with Nest, the platform dedicated to developers to concoct new features for the 3 devices (as with IFTTT).

The uses made possible by this novelty are many: it can for example order its LifX bulbs to turn on when Nest Cam detects movements or the lock smart health connected August to lock when leaving his apartment by putting the Nest Thermostat in the sleep position.

We also remember that this last tool had been made compatible with Alexa earlier in the year; we are now waiting to find out what Google is planning, while the Mountain View company has just unveiled health home, its voice assistant who is in direct competition with the Amazon Echo.

The announcement also confirms that the Alphabet branch headed by Tony Fadell seems to continue to have the wind in its sails, a few days after finally making peace with its direct competitor in the smart health connected thermostats market, Honeywell.
