Garmin novelties (Vivosport, Vivomove HR, Vivoactive 3)

[ad_1]

The Garmin range is complex to read, but each model is more and more efficient. The company has just introduced a new smart health connected bracelet, the Vivosport, and two watches, the Vivomove HR and Vivoactive 3.

The Vivosport to counter Samsung and Fitbit

Fitbit should be wary of Garmin as the manufacturer's range is improving day by day. Its new smart health connected bracelet, the Vivosport embeds all the possible functionalities for an activity sensor: physical activity, heart rate, sleep, stress level, waterproof up to 50 meters, notifications, GPS, color screen... the brand hits the market of activity trackers.

Its closest competitor in terms of functionality is the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro, also announced at IFA. On paper, the Vivosport is much more complete than the Fitbit Charge 2 that we designated as the best bracelet smart health connected in 2017. The ranking may move as soon as we Review the Garmin Vivosport. It is available for pre-order for 199 € at most merchants.

Vivomove HR to compete with Nokia Steel HR

Second beautiful product presented by Garmin, the Vivomove HR. This hybrid watch is available from 199 € in sports mode and 299 € in Premium mode. It combines analog hands and a screen that displays information. In the program followed by thedaily activity, sleep, resistance to water, notification and heart rate monitoring. In the end there is only the GPS and a slightly better autonomy, the Vivomove HR must be recharged every 5 days.

As for the Vivosport, we can not wait to Review the Vivomove HR to get a final opinion.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 aims at the high end

Again, the features seem to go. In addition to all the features on the Vivosport, the Vivoactive 3 ships the payment system Garmin Pay, downloadable workouts, and a crown for easy menu navigation. The announced autonomy is 8 days, which is pretty good for this type of smart health connected watches for the sport. The design is relatively sporty, but remains discreet, the watch being less imposing than models like Forerunner and Phenix.

The public price is set at 329 € and goes up to 359 € for a more premium bracelet.

These three models are, on paper, a great success, and their Review will show us if they are at the height of their respective competitors, or even above. The technical specifications arrive in more complete articles in the next hours. All models are pre-orders and must arrive in the coming weeks.
