Garmin VivoActive smartwatch – The health home Automation Blog

The Garmin VivoActive smartwatch has just appeared at CES 2015 in Las Vegas.

With the Garmin VivoActive smartwatch, Garmin has enriched its range of smart health connected watches. Note, the Garmin VivoActive is one of the three watches presented today by the manufacturer, but it is by far the most interesting. The Garmin VivoActive smartwatch is aimed at athletes and offers them daily monitoring of their lifestyle, a GPS and of course a connection to their smartphone to receive notifications.

This smart health connected watch therefore works in Bluetooth and will be compatible with devices operating under the Garmin Connect Mobile application, therefore under Android and iOS. It is also compatible with a heart rate monitoring (sold separately or as a bundle), in order to improve the fields of action of the VivoActive.

You will be able to track your performance while cycling, swimming and golfing, as well as analyze your sleep and workouts. As it is primarily a smartwatch you will be able to keep track of calls, messages, emails and calendar notifications from your smartphone. You will be able to customize the watchfaces, and get other information like the weather.

Garmin explains that the VivoActive will give you three weeks of use on a single charge, or 10 hours of GPS tracking during sport. The Garmin VivoActive smartwatch is available for pre-order in the United States and costs $ 249.99 alone and $ 299.99 with its GRH strap. Discover it in ehealth:
