[ad_1]

If some manufacturers of smart health connected bracelets surprised us at CES 2014 (such as LG or Archos), this is not the case with Garmin, which has been active for a long time in the "Quantified self". After launching sports watches and sensors to slip into his shoes, it therefore returns to the competitive segment of smart health connected bracelets, with the Vivofit.

Vivofit, yet another activity tracker?

Like most activity trackers, the Vivofit will allow you to measure your steps or calories expended, for which you can set goals sinceGarmin Connect Mobile app. Below, we detail the other characteristics of the products, which can also be found in some competitors:

  • Viewing : A screen displays the data in real time on the bracelet (Nike Fuelband)

  • Application connection : Bluetooth Low Energy; iOs and Android compatible

  • communal : Rewards system for achieving objectives (Jawbone UP)

  • Sleep : Analysis of sleep and rest phases (Withings Aura; Sony Core Smartband)

  • Sealing : Waterproof up to 50 meters (Nike Fuelband, Jawbone UP, Fitbit Flex)

The distinguishing point for Garmin Vivofit is its autonomy: ONE YEAR, according to the group.
