The startup Pegasi unveils eyewear that uses the benefits of light therapy to help users sleep better.

To design these futuristic-looking glasses, Pegasi assumed that many people had trouble sleeping or finding their daily routine. If you add the use of the smartphone or TV, it can actually be difficult to find sleep. Based on this observation, the young shoot presented a pair of glasses that is based on the benefits of light therapy, a practice of exposing oneself to an artificial white light. With the latter, the body would feel beneficial effects to those of exposure to the sun. This practice is often used for people with mood disorders (or sleep) related to the change of season and winter.

As for her pair of glasses, Pegasi says she should be worn daily for thirty minutes between 7 and 9 am. When the device is turned on, it turns off automatically as soon as the cycle is complete. According to the startup, seven days would be enough to attest to a significant change in sleep. An application provides access to data relating to the user's sleep cycle.

The young shoot develops: By using a green light to stimulate the nervous system and regulate the level of melatonin that the body produces during the day, it significantly improves the amount of melatonin produced during the night, and this can help people fall asleep quickly and sleep in general ".

Currently on Kickstarter, the Smart Sleep II glasses should be launched in August at a rate of $ 109 per pair.
