Google Assistant version of Echo Spot
Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Smart Clock, a smart monitoring under Google Assistant specially designed for the bedroom.
The Lenovo Smart Clock is clearly positioned as a direct competitor to the Amazon Echo Spot, but offers a form closer to that of the Google health home Hub; and you know how much I love this.
The Smart Clock has a 4-inch touch screen. The whole is wrapped in a fabric cover; which will allow you to blend with the decor of your room. There is however no camera. Lenovo also has a rear mute switch, which mutes the microphone.
Lenovo says the Smart Clock was designed to promote good sleep habits. You can ask Google Assistant to play relaxing music or guided meditation. You can also set up sleep routines.
This means that you will master your health home intelligently, including the ability to organize a gentle waking routine; by gradually turning on your smart lights and gradually increasing the volume of your alarm. When you wake up, you will get details about your day.
You will be able to control your Chromecast so you can watch what you want on TV; while supporting a full range of music streaming services. You can even check your security cameras and much more thanks to the connectivity of Google Assistant. There is also a USB port on the back so you can charge your device from it.
When you're not interacting with your smart clock, it just tells you the time. Its 6 W speakers will also allow you to listen to music.
The best thing about the Lenovo Smart Clock is that it is only $ 79 and will be available next spring.
